To facilitate quick payments and ensure smooth project operations, it's essential to understand the available funding options. Ayda offers two user-friendly methods: wallet top-ups and pro forma invoices.
Topping up your Ayda wallet
One of the easiest ways to make payments from Ayda is to have an available amount in your wallet. This amount can be used to fund any project at any time, and if you decide not to use it, it can be sent back to your company's bank account.
You can top up your wallet by making a bank transfer to Ayda, using the details you received during your onboarding process.
If you want to double-check the bank details or request that the available balance be sent back to your company, please email accounts@helloayda.com.
Get instant access to funds with your unique bank reference code
It's important to use your bank reference code during the bank transfer. This code is unique to your company, and will ensure your funds are instantly added to your wallet. If you forget to use the code, the funds will take up to 1 business day to be allocated.
Here's how to use the code:
-
Locate your unique bank reference code: Navigate to the Company section and select the Currencies tab.
-
Choose the correct code: You'll see your unique bank reference codes listed by currency. Note that each currency has a different code.
- Use it like a pro: Enter the code as the reference when topping up your Ayda wallet. For example, when adding funds to your GBP wallet, use the GBP bank reference code.
Funding your project using a pro forma invoice
If you prefer funding projects individually without topping up your wallet, Ayda offers a seamless solution through pro forma invoices. These are preliminary documents generated before project activation, outlining expected costs, and serving as formal funding requests to your finance team.
How to create a pro forma invoice
- Create a new project, and the system automatically populates the project value in the pro forma invoice.
- Pro forma invoices are typically emailed to the finance contact you've specified.
- After the payment is made, the amount related to the pro forma invoices is allocated to the project.
Please note: Pro forma invoices must be created and approved before project activation.
